Holidays are organised by volunteers, backed by a professional and experienced holiday company.

The holidays are announced in the Winter newsletter and an application form is included which must be submitted by a specified closing date.  Places will be allocated according to a tried and trusted scheme that aims to provide a fair allocation of places to members.  Specifically places are not allocated on a response date basis; no allocation takes place until after the closing date.  Where more members have applied for a holiday than places are available, a waiting list will be maintained by the holiday organiser.

Some holidays may not be full, but still full enough to run, so it is possible that places may still be available after the closing date, particularly if you can be flexible regarding room type.  To check, look at the Latest News page and then contact the holiday organiser.

If you are already booked on a holiday, or are on a waiting list, and need to cancel please contact the holiday organiser as soon as possible; an escalating set of charges are applied to cancellations if it is not possible to reallocate your place.
